Today I typed 'funny pics' into Google images and found this. I LOVE IT!

Silly

I quite like typing random words into Google images and seeing what pictures come up. Today my word was 'silly'.

Apparently this is a sore throat. Kirsten put it in my mouth.

How annoying.

4 things that annoy me at the moment:

Crappy rain
-It hasn't stopped raining for as long as I can remember. It's starting to annoy me now as I keep getting wet. Yesterday I dried and straightened my hair...complete waste of time as I got soaking. My jeans were wet up to my knees and I was well and truly soggy. Apart from getting wet rain makes the sky grey which is just miserable and definitely not Christmassy.

Burnesidians
-I should explain, we have a mini bus at work which takes us home. Sometimes we have to go through Burneside, this is a little village which turns a 15 minute journey into a 25 minute journey. Annoying after a long day at work.

My kitchen
-Still not finished despite numerous promises from a certain male. My dad suggested going on a cooking strike but that just won't work, I like food too much.

Prank calls
-The other night somebody kept ringing our house phone but not speaking. They'd wait until we answered and then hang on while we repeated 'hello', then they'd just put it down. Surprise, surprise the number was withheld. It's annoying but I take some satisfaction in knowing that the person doing it clearly has no life!

In the great scheme of things these are rather minimal issues. However, still annoying.

Why bother

Looks like my healthy eating will only last one day...tomorrow is meal out at the Italian and Friday night is Christmas party with work (3 courses!).

Life's tough this time of year.

On the subject of tough...that is what I need to be tomorrow as I'm getting my first tattoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 19 hours to go.

Ben, Lisa and Kirsten - did I mention to you that I was getting a tattoo?

I said NO

...to sausage/bacon/egg muffins!!!

I assure you this is a first, I'm shocked at myself.

It's salad for lunch as well so it's looking good!

This sounds very impressive but I have no doubt that it'll be back to takeaways at the weekend.

I feel I should share with you what I've eaten this weekend:

Friday night - Indian
Chicken balti, saffron rice, garlic naan, onion bhaji and a chicken satay stick.


Saturday lunch - Greggs
Sausage roll


Saturday night - Chippy
Fish & chips with curry sauce and mushy peas


Sunday lunch - Home-cooked roast
Chicken, sage & onion stuffing, roast potatoes, mashed carrot & swede, peas, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, yorskshire puddings & gravy (ALL MADE BY ME , NO TAKEAWAY!)


Sunday tea - Chinese
Sweet & sour chicken with egg fried rice and chips.


I'm so unhealthy and my trousers are definitely getting tighter.

Don't be fooled

Although she looks sweet and innocent she isn't!

This month Avon forced me to spend over £30. If you look closely you'll see £ signs in her eyes.

Avon calling

Ding dong Avon goodies have arrived.

Avon has always traditionally involved the Avon lady ringing the doorbell and shouting 'Avon Calling!'

We now have an Avon lady at work though so it just gets delivered here. Today she emailed me to say that my Avon goodies have arrived...in the subject she put 'Ding dong' !

I love it...the Avon tradition lives on in today's modern electronic world!

I know, I'm easily amused. Small things, small minds.

For poorly Kirsten...

So this is my 6th and final post for the day, I've done it!

Wasn't sure what to post so I thought I'd just say what's going on at this moment in time. This is just for you Kirsten so you don't feel like you've missed out today (I know how much you love work).

I'm about to go as it is 4 mins to 5. Woohoo college I can't wait!

Ben has growing pains (it's all those choccies and cakes).

Blackpool here we come!!!

New Year's Eve is organised. 10 of us are going to the beautiful seaside resort of Blackpool.

For £35 we get one night's accomodation and VIP entry to one of the big clubs. I know, £35, do you think the hotel will have beds, or lights, or running water?

I just hope it's clean cos I really aint good with dirty places. I'm preparing myself for the worst and hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. Anyway, I reckon we'll only be in the rooms for a few hours so it should all be fine.

I can't even begin to imagine how crazy Blackpool will be on New Year's Eve - it's mad enough on a normal weekend! I'm predicting a 2-day hangover so Lisa and Kirsten please be gentle with me on the 2nd (if I don't feel sick I think we'll have to get muffins)!

It's 3 o' clock in the afternoon and it is dark, not just a little grey but absolutely black.

How depressing.

And I thought a Big Tasty was big...

Whilst out shopping on Friday we decided to go for lunch and a much needed drink.

Being my usual greedy-self I ordered the mighty stack burger thinking I could handle it! What a mistake, it was huge and consisted of the following:

Lettuce
Tomato
A Southern-fried chicken fillet
A BIG beefburger
Cheese
Bacon
Onion Rings
BBQ sauce
...all in a huge bun and with chips on the side!!!

I'm afraid I was defeated and had to leave some. Beats MacDonalds anyday though!

Today's aim

My aim for today is to post 6 times (this counts as one though). It is Monday and I had a lot to drink at the weekend so this will be a challenge.

But, I'm sure I'll manage. 2 down, 4 to go...
